1. And He said to Abram, Know assuredly that your seed will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and they will serve them; and they will afflict them four hundred years.

22. And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

23. So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his wife took her Egyptian maidservant Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife.

37. And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.

38. Abram replied to Sarai."Your slave-girl is in your hands;deal with her as you will."

39. And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

亚伯兰因这女人的缘故就被优待，得了许多牛羊、公驴、母驴、仆婢和骆驼。

40. "But abram said to the king of Sodom, I have taken an oath to the Lord, the Most High God, maker of heaven and earth,"

亚伯兰对所多玛王说，我已经向天地的主至高的神耶和华起誓。

41. And Abram took Sarai, his wife, and Lot, his brother's son, and all their goods and the servants which they had got in Haran, and they went out to go to the land of Canaan.

42. Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other; the birds, however, he did not cut in half.

43. And Abram said to Lot, Let there please be no strife between me and you and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brothers.

46. Then Abram gave him a tenth of all the goods he had taken.

47. So Abram moved his tents and went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the LORD.

亚伯兰就搬了帐棚、来到希伯仑幔利的橡树那里居住、在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛。

48. So Abram went as the Lord had said to him, and Lot went with him: Abram was seventy-five years old when he went away from Haran.

58. Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre the Amorite, a brother of Eshcol and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram.

59. Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar;

亚伯兰的牧人和罗得的牧人就因著牛羊和牧养问题彼此争执。那时候，迦南人和比利洗人还住在那里。

63. And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

亚伯兰说,主耶和华阿,我既无子,你还赐我什么呢,并且要承受我家业的是大马士革人以利以谢。

64. But Abram said, "O Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?

67. On the way back, Abram met the King of Salem, Melchizedek.

68. Abram lived in the land of Canaan, and Lot lived in the cities of the plain, and moved his tent as far as Sodom.

69. And they used Abram well for her sake. And he had sheep and oxen, and he asses, and menservants and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

70. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed out of Haran.

71. Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was sore in the land.

72. So Abram went as Yahweh had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

亚巴郎遂照上主的吩咐起了身，罗特也同他一起走了。亚巴郎离开哈兰时，已七十五岁。

73. The period from the flood to the time when Abram left Ur was a period of427 years.

从洪水到亚伯拉罕在吾珥被召唤这段时间一共367年。

74. And he blessed Abram, saying, "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.

75. Abram took Sarai, his wife, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran. They set out for the land of Canaan. They arrived at Canaan.

76. Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan.

77. And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
