1. And the LORD sent Jerubbaal， and Bedan， and Jephthah， and Samuel， and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side， and ye dwelled safe.

2. And he said to him, Thus says Jephthah, Israel did not take the land of Moab nor the land of the children of Ammon.

3. But the king of the children of Ammon would not listen to the words of Jephthah, which he sent him.

9. And Jephthah gathered all the men of Gilead together and fought with Ephraim.

13. And Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then died Jephthah the Gileadite, and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead.

14. And they said unto Jephthah， Come， and be our captain， that we may fight with the children of Ammon.

15. Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.

于是耶弗他同基列的长老回去,百姓就立耶弗他作领袖,作元帅。耶弗他在米斯巴将自己的一切话陈明在耶和华面前。

16. So Jephthah went with the responsible men of Gilead, and the people made him head and chief over them; and Jephthah said all these things before the Lord in Mizpah.

于是耶弗他同基列的长老回去、百姓就立耶弗他作领袖、作元帅，耶弗他在米斯巴将自己的一切话、陈明在耶和华面前。

17. So Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and commander over them. And he repeated all his words before the LORD in Mizpah.

18. Then Jephthah went over to fight the Ammonites, and the LORD gave them into his hands.

19. So Jephthah crossed over to the sons of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD gave them into his hand.

21. Jephthah then called together the men of Gilead and fought against Ephraim. The Gileadites struck them down because the Ephraimites had said, "You Gileadites are renegades from Ephraim and Manasseh.

22. Jephthah then called together the men of Gilead and fought against Ephraim. The Gileadites struck them down because the Ephraimites had said, “You Gileadites are renegades from Ephraim and Manasseh.”

23. Jephthah then called together the men of Gilead and fought against Ephraim.

25. And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob

26. And when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the responsible men of Gilead went to get Jephthah back from the land of Tob;

27. The king of the Ammonites answered Jephthah's messengers, "When Israel came up out of Egypt, they took away my land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, all the way to the Jordan.Now give it back peaceably.

亚扪人的王回答耶弗他的使者说、因为以色列人从埃及上来的时候、佔据我的地、从亚嫩河到雅博河、直到约但河．现在你要好好的将这地归还罢。

28. The king of the Ammonites answered Jephthah's messengers, "When Israel came up out of Egypt, they took away my land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, all the way to the Jordan.

亚扪人的王回答耶弗他的使者说，因为以色列人从埃及上来的时候占据我的地，从亚嫩河到雅博河，直到约旦河。

29. Then Jephthah sent men to the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What have you against me that you have come to make war against my land?

30. The men of Ephraim called out their forces, crossed over to Zaphon and said to Jephthah, "Why did you go to fight the Ammonites without calling us to go with you?

以法莲人聚集，到了北方，对耶弗他说，你去与亚扪人争战，为什么没有招我们同去呢。

31. So the Lord sent Jerubbaal and Barak and Jephthah and Samuel and took you out of the power of those who were fighting against you on every side, and made you safe.

32. Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty warrior. His father was Gilead; his mother was a prostitute.

33. Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a great man of war; he was the son of a loose woman, and Gilead was his father.

34. Gilead's wife also bore him sons, and when they were grown up, they drove Jephthah away."You are not going to get any inheritance in our family," they said, "because you are the son of another woman.

35. And Gilead's wife gave birth to sons, and when her sons became men, they sent Jephthah away, saying, You have no part in the heritage of our father's house, for you are the son of another woman.

基列的妻也生了几个儿子．他妻所生的儿子长大了、就赶逐耶弗他说、你不可在我们父家承受产业、因为你是妓女的儿子。

36. The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "For this reason we have now returned to you, that you may go with us and fight with the sons of Ammon and become head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

基列的长老回答耶弗他、说、现在我们到你这里来、是要你同我们去、与亚扪人争战．你可以作基列一切居民的领袖。

37. And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.

基列的长老回答耶弗他说、有耶和华在你我中间作见证、我们必定照你的话行。

38. And the responsible men of Gilead said to Jephthah, May the Lord be our witness: we will certainly do as you say.

39. But Jephthah said to the responsible men of Gilead, Did you not, in your hate for me, send me away from my father's house?

40. The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "The Lord is witness between us; surely we will do as you have said."

士11:10基列的长老回答耶弗他说、有耶和华在你我中间作见证、我们必定照你的话行。

41. Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and chief over them; and Jephthah spoke all his words before the Lord at Mizpah.

42. Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a valiant warrior, but he was the son of a harlot. And Gilead was the father of Jephthah.

士11:1基列人耶弗他是个大能的勇士、妓女的儿子。耶弗他是基列所生的。

43. Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him.

44. Now the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, so that he passed through Gilead and Manasseh; then he passed through Mizpah of Gilead, and from Mizpah of Gilead he went on to the sons of Ammon.

45. So Jephthah fled from his brothers and lived in the land of Tob; and worthless fellows gathered themselves about Jephthah, and they went out with him.

46. Jdg 11:9 And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head?

47. Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then Jephthah the Gileadite died and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead.

48. saying: 'This is what Jephthah says: Israel did not take the land of Moab or the land of the Ammonites.

55. And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets,

57. And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee?

66. And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?

67. Then Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "Did you not hate me and drive me from my father's house?

68. And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child;beside her he had neither son nor daughter.

69. Then Jephthah came back to his house in Mizpah, and his daughter came out, meeting him on his way with music and with dances;she was his only child;he had no other sons or daughters.

70. Jephthah answered,“I and my people were engaged in a great struggle with the Ammonites, and although I called, you didn't save me out of their hands.

73. Jephthah answered, "Suppose you take me back to fight the Ammonites and the LORD gives them to me-will I really be your head?"

74. Then Jephthah said to the responsible men of Gilead, If you take me back to make war against the children of Ammon, and if with the help of the Lord I overcome them, will you make me your head?

75. So Jephthah fled from his brothers and settled in the land of Tob, where a group of adventurers gathered around him and followed him.

77. Then Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king with the question: "What do you have against us that you have attacked our country?

78. and they said to him, "Thus says Jephthah, 'Israel did not take away the land of Moab nor the land of the sons of Ammon.

79. Then Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king with the question: 'What do you have against us that you have attacked our country?'
