1. Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far has the LORD helped us."

4. All the people Ishmael had taken captive at Mizpah turned and went over to Johanan son of Kareah.

8. Now the men of Israel swore in Mizpah, saying, None of us shall give his daughter to a Benjaminite as a wife.

9. Then Samuel said, "Assemble all Israel at Mizpah and I will intercede with the LORD for you."

10. Then Asa the king took all Judah;and they car***ed away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building;and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.

11. Then King Asa brought all the men of Judah, and they carried away from Ramah the stones and timber Baasha had been using.With them he built up Geba and Mizpah.

12. 6 So they gathered together at Mizpah, drew water, and poured it out before the LORD.And they fasted that day, and said there, “We have sinned against the LORD.

13. Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

17. 7 Now when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel had gathered together at Mizpah, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel.

18. And they said, Is there anyone from the tribes of Israel who did not come to Jehovah at Mizpah?

19. In the seventh month Ishmael son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, who was of royal blood and had been one of the king's officers, came with ten men to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah.
七月间，王的大臣宗室以利沙玛的孙子尼探雅的儿子以实玛利，带着十个人，来到米斯巴见亚希甘的儿子基大利。他们在米斯巴一同吃饭。
20. and they took away the stones and the wood with which Baasha was building Ramah, and King Asa made use of them for building Geba in the land of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

21. "Then King asa got all Judah together, making every man come; and they took away the stones and the wood with which Baasha was building Ramah, and King asa made use of them for building Geba in the land of Benjamin, and Mizpah."

22. Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.

24. "Then King asa, with all Judah, took away the stones and wood with which Baasha was building Ramah, and he made use of them for building Geba and Mizpah."

25. Then all the Israelites from Dan to Beersheba and from the land of Gilead came out as one man and assembled before the LORD in Mizpah.

26. Then all the children of Israel took up arms, and the people came together like one man, from Dan to Beer-sheba, and the land of Gilead, before the Lord at Mizpah.

28. " And Samuel judged the sons of Israel at Mizpah.

29. So Jephthah went with the responsible men of Gilead, and the people made him head and chief over them; and Jephthah said all these things before the Lord in Mizpah.

30. So Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and commander over them. And he repeated all his words before the LORD in Mizpah.

31. and King Asa built with these Geba of Benjamin and Mizpah.

32. 8 And when they asked whether anyone among the tribes of Israel had not come up to the LORD in Mizpah, they found that none of the men of Jabesh-gilead had come to the encampment for the assembly.
他们又问说：＂以色列众支派中，有那一支派没有上米兹帕来到上主面前呢？＂看，由基肋阿得雅贝士中没有一人入营，参加集会。
33. And there they ate bread together in Mizpah.

34. From year to year he went on a circuit from Bethel to Gilgal to Mizpah, judging Israel in all those places.

38. The men of Israel rushed out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, slaughtering them along the way to a point below Beth Car.

39. Now the men of Israel had taken an oath in Mizpah, saying, Not one of us will give his daughter as a wife to Benjamin.

40. 11 Thereupon the Israelites sallied forth from Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, harrying them down beyond Beth-car.

41. and give ye ear, O house of the king;for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

42. "Hear this, you priests! Pay attention, you Israelites! Listen, O royal house! This judgment is against you: You have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor.
众祭司啊，要听我的话！以色列家啊，要留心听！王家啊，要侧耳而听！审判要临到你们，因你们在米斯巴如网罗，在他泊山如铺张的网。
43. " For they had taken a great oath concerning him who did not come up to the LORD at Mizpah, saying, "He shall surely be put to death.
先是以色列人起过大誓说，凡不上米斯巴到耶和华面前来的，必将他治死。
44. And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.

45. By their side were working Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and of Mizpah from the seat of the ruler across the river.

50. and Mizpah, for he said, "May the Lord watch between you and me when we are absent one from the other.

55. It was also called Mizpah, because he said, "May the Lord keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other.

58. Then they asked, "Which one of the tribes of Israel failed to assemble before the LORD at Mizpah?

59. And they said, Which one of the tribes of Israel did not come up to Mizpah to the Lord?And it was seen that no one had come from Jabesh-gilead to the meeting.

60. next to him, Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, opposite the slope up to the Armory, towards the Angle.

61. Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and chief over them; and Jephthah spoke all his words before the Lord at Mizpah.

62. Now the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, so that he passed through Gilead and Manasseh; then he passed through Mizpah of Gilead, and from Mizpah of Gilead he went on to the sons of Ammon.

63. Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpah, saying, "None of us shall give his daughter to Benjamin in marriage."

64. From there David went to Mizpah in Moab and said to the king of Moab, "Would you let my father and mother come and stay with you until I learn what God will do for me?

65. For to you belongs the judgment, For you have been a snare at Mizpah And a net spread over Tabor.

66. Next to him Ezer the son of Jeshua, the official of Mizpah, repaired another section in front of the ascent of the armory at the Angle.

68. Ishmael son of Nethaniah went out from Mizpah to meet them, weeping as he went. When he met them, he said, "Come to Gedaliah son of Ahikam.

69. Then the sons of Ammon were summoned and they camped in Gilead. And the sons of Israel gathered together and camped in Mizpah.

70. When the Ammonites were called to arms and camped in Gilead, the Israelites assembled and camped at Mizpah.

71. The men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, and struck them down as far as below Beth-car.

78. So Jeremiah went to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, in Mizpah, and was living with him among the people who were still in the land.

79. Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah. He crossed Gilead and Manasseh, passed through Mizpah of Gilead, and from there he advanced against the Ammonites.

80. Then Jephthah came back to his house in Mizpah, and his daughter came out, meeting him on his way with music and with dances;she was his only child;he had no other sons or daughters.
耶弗他回米斯巴到了自己的家．不料、他女儿拿著鼓跳舞出来迎接他、是他独生的．此外无儿无女。
