1. The pseudoscorpion is a new genus, and it joins four other new genera--including a spider, crustacean, and insect--identified in biologically diverse Western Australia.

2. Without a stinging tail, the newfound arachnid species represented by this specimen only somewhat resembles the deadly scorpion--earning it the name "pseudoscorpion," scientists said in March 2009.
