1. And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds， and by thousands： but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish.

3非利士人的首领说，这些希伯来人在这里作什么呢。亚吉对他们说，这不是以色列王扫罗的臣子大卫吗。他在我这里有些年日了。自从他投降我直到今日，我未曾见他有过错。

2. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.

你们出来必不至急忙,也不至奔逃。因为耶和华必在你们前头行。以色列的神必作你们的后盾。

4. the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

你的公义就必行在你的前面，耶和华的荣耀要作你的后盾。

5. And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

在诸营末后的是但营的纛、按著军队往前行、统领军队的、是亚米沙代的儿子亚希以谢。

6. And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

带兵器的走在吹角的祭司前面,后队随着约柜行。祭司一面走一面吹。

7. 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

这样、你的光就必发现如早晨的光．你所得的医治、要速速发明．你的公义、必在你前面行．耶和华的荣光、必作你的后盾。

非利士人的首领各率军队,或百或千,挨次前进。大卫和跟随他的人同着亚吉跟在后边。
